Herding Classes at Victory Farm

Herding classes at Victory Farm are held by appointment. We strive to suit your schedule, offering early morning, evening, and weekend training times.

Our specialty is beginners, with the training emphasis on the natural abilities and talents of your dog. Our training methods are based primarily on the teachings of Kathy Knox. We teach the handler how to handle their dog, allowing them their sheep as reward.

Recommended training recurrence is weekly, although bi-weekly, or monthly is certainly possible.

About our instructor

Our instructor is Sarah Ruckelshaus. Sarah is an Open handler with 10 years experience training and handling dogs. Sarah has trained with Kent Kuykendahl, Pat Shanahan, Kathy Knox, Jack Knox, Linda Tesdahl, Scott Glenn, as well as some of the best open handlers on the east coast.
