About MidAtlantic Border Collie Rescue

At MidAtlantic Border Collie Rescue (MABCR), we are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming Border Collies in need. We strive to find loving, forever homes for these intelligent and energetic dogs while educating the public about the breed’s unique characteristics and needs.

Who We Are

MABCR is a non-profit organization run by passionate volunteers who share a deep love for Border Collies. Our team consists of experienced dog handlers, trainers, and animal welfare advocates who understand the specific needs of this remarkable breed.

What We Do

  • Rescue Border Collies from shelters, abandonment, and other challenging situations
  • Provide comprehensive medical care, including spaying/neutering and vaccinations
  • Assess each dog’s temperament and behavior to ensure proper placement
  • Match rescued Border Collies with suitable, loving homes
  • Offer ongoing support and resources to adopters
  • Educate the public about responsible pet ownership and the unique needs of Border Collies
