Prior to submitting an application, please review the FAQ section of our website. We understand there are lots of words here, but it is important that you read them prior to making application. It is important to note that as of 1 January 2022 our adoption fee has changed, and is $400, with a $50 training rebate available to any adopter who attends 8 weeks of group training classes with their dog within the first 6 months of adoption.

We recommend completing our application in your chrome or firefox browser. You may need to clear your cache, and allow cookies in order to access. You will also find is better to use a laptop or desktop – not a phone or tablet – signing into your google account will definitely help. Please note: the only way to submit an application is through the website. If you are having issues accessing the application, it is a setting on your end, unfortunately, we have not been able to find and solve a common solution, other than what is listed above.

Clicking on “Fill out Form” below will take you directly to our application. The application is not downloadable, and must be completed here in order for you to be considered for an adoptable dog. Our application is not available in other formats.

If you are having trouble accessing the form itself, please clear your cache, and/or try a different browser – Chrome and Firefox seem to work best – signing into a google account will help.
If you continue to have issues, please try access through a different device — laptop or desktop is best.

***Please complete all sections of the application, including attachment of the appropriate documents (rental agreement indicating page number of clauses allowing pets and outlining restrictions, and appropriate veterinary records of domestic pets – dogs, cats, ferrets – including vaccines) or we will be unable to process your application. Please review the entire application before sending to be sure it is complete. By sending us your completed electronic application you agree to the terms listed on this website below.

Please be aware that 100% of our communication with applicants to set up appointments is via email, so please check your email – and spam – regularly throughout the process. Many of our volunteers work and are unable to use their personal phones during the day.

A note about applications: COVID has really put the screws to us with the numbers of applications, and correspondence. PLEASE be responsible and review your application prior to hitting send — if it is not complete, we will not be able to process your application.
