We have great new rope colors from Atwood’s line of 3/8” (9.5 mm) utility rope made in the USA. (Long-lasting and durable, the color does not bleed, and the rope is washable plus UV and rot resistant.)
Also available are ones made from slightly thicker, 11 mm/7/16” climbing rope. The Kernmaster line comes in either pink with black OR green with purple, plus the Endurance Climbing rope in Rainbow (also called Pride rope!).
These handy leashes can be used as a standard leash and in a variety of ways, including hands-free walking, thanks to a floating brass ring, and brass swivel clips on both ends. Please see our demo video!
The swivel clips at either end are hand sewn in place and then secured with Turk's head knots, which are both decorative and functional. The floating brass ring placement is simple to adjust using knots, which are easy to take out or move, so the position is adjustable depending on what you are wearing, or how you are using the leash.
About the knots: Turk’s-head knots make connections on the handle and clip ends much stronger than sewing alone. Both are made with a single strand of parachute cord. See About the Knots for more information on how they are made.
